Bug List

1) My first bug is almost every night when I sit on the couch after a long day to wind down, my wife immediately asks me to get her something from somewhere in the house. It could be a glass of water, some chocolate, or a snack. After I get her what she asks for she normally asks for something else right when I sit back down. This bugs me because I don't want to get up just as much as she doesn't and if she were to ask me before I sat down I wouldn't be as bothered.
2) It really bugs me when I let someone pull out in front of me in their car from a parking lot or a street when there is a lot of traffic and they don't wave to say thank you. This bugs me because it is common courtesy to wave when someone is nice in a car. It makes me wish I didn't allow them on to the street.
3) It bugs me when I let my dog out to go to the bathroom and when I call her to come back inside she ignores me and continues to run around or sniff the ground. I have to bribe her with treats for her to come back in. It bugs me because I know she can hear me but she is choosing to be disobedient.
4) It bugs me when I go out to eat at a restaurant and I receive poor service and food that isn't very good. I am especially bugged when I have been to the restaurant before and have had a great experience. This bugs me because I don't like to waste my money on bad experiences. I go out to eat to enjoy something tasty that I can't have at home and to have a good experience.
5) It bugs me when a person complains to me about someone else without talking to the person they are complaining about. It bugs me because complaining to me isn't going to change the problem they are having with someone else.
6) It bugs me complain about how bad their life is or what's going on in their life on social media and then get mad when people comment about it. This bugs me because they are only saying these things for attention and when they get the attention they get upset about it.
7) It bugs me when people work at companies that require good customer service and they are rude and act like it bothers them when someone asks them for their assistance. It bugs me because they know what the job entails and they chose to work there. It is part of the job description to be personable to people in the customer service industry.
8) It bugs me when I am late especially when I could have prevented it. It bugs me because being late shows that you aren't reliable and I want to be considered reliable.
9) It bugs me when I am at work and the members are rude to myself or my fellow co workers. They sometimes act like they have a sense of entitlement. It bugs me because I believe you should always treat people how you want to be treated and they do the exact opposite.
10) It bugs me when people chew with their mouth's open. It bothers me because it is a disgusting habit and loud.
11) It bugs me when people bring their unruly children in public. I don't like kids who are running around, screaming, running amuck, and not listening to their parents. It bugs me because when I was a child I always listened to my parents and it seems like children now days do what they want when they want to do it.
12) It bugs me when I am golfing and I hit an awful shot into the woods or water. It bugs me because I have played enough golf and made enough decent shots where I believe I shouldn't do that but every round I play it happens.
13) It bugs me when people say they will do something and then don't do it. For instance, I have a friend who always says he will help me with things and when it comes time to help he is always "busy." This bothers me because it isn't hard to keep your promise to your friends.
14) It bugs me when a national company can't do what they say they are going to do. Recently, Cox Cable told me they would be installing my cable between 8-10am. They showed up around 9 and brought in a few different cable boxes but none worked correctly. They told me they would call me back later in the day to set up a time to fix their mistake. After 3, I called back because I never received a call from them and they told me the technician would call me within 30 minutes. Around 4:30, I called back because I never heard from the technician and they said I would receive a call in the next 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I called to reschedule my appointment and 2 hours later the technician called to say he would be at my house in 10 minutes. It bugs me that a national company can't do what they say because they should be able to communicate within the company to ensure their customers are happy with their service.
15) It bugs me when people leave food in my car after I drive them somewhere. It bugs me because people should respect your things enough to not leave trash in them.
16) It bugs me when people drive below the speed limit. It bugs me when people drive below the speed limit because it slows the flow of traffic and the speed limit is set at a certain limit and they are going slower.
17) It bugs me when people have all the talent in the world and don't take advantage of the opportunity that they are given. It bugs me because people with all the talent and opportunity don't take advantage of the resources or skill they have and it goes to waste.
18) It bugs me when people who pretend to be your friends really only act like they are your friends for personal gain. It bugs me because it is very deceiving to get someone to think you care for them when you only give them attention to help you out personally.
19) It bugs me when I am at the gym and people sit on their phone while they are sitting on a cable machine. It bugs me because they should leave the machine while they are on their phone instead of slowing the workouts of others.
20) It bugs me when people pretend they are in the military or have previously been in the military. It bugs me because being a member of our armed service is a great honor and people who pretend to go through what real members of the military have been through is a cowardly move.

Coming up with 20 things that bug me was extremely difficult. I am normally a laid back person who doesn't let things get to me so this exercise was difficult. The first 5 or so were easy to come up with but I struggled with the last 10.
