1. The biggest surprise that came from the reading for me was all the different aspects of being a successful entrepreneur. I learned it is more than just being really efficient in one or two things, such as business savvy or marketing, or having a couple of strong characteristics, like intelligence or creativity, but you must be all these things and many more to be a successful entrepreneur.
2. One part of the reading that particularly confused me was how an overriding desire for success could be a bad thing. I thought wanting to be successful would have been a positive characteristic for an entrepreneur and would help them succeed in their endeavor.
3. My questions for the author would be, "What is the most important characteristic for an entrepreneur?" Also, "What is the characteristic that hinders an entrepreneur from success?"
4. In my opinion, I believe the author was partially wrong about an overriding desire for success. I understand how wanting a plush office or a tall building for your company could potentially become dangerous for the entrepreneurs vision but it could also push them to be better to achieve a goal they have.
